It is a significant area of inheritance to several generations of miners and their families.
It is beyond all doubt that Wieliczka Salt Mine has helped importantly to assist national economy. What is more – Wieliczka is reputed as the oldest national brand. Not everybody knows that Wieliczka is a first company that has marked their production with a trademark. Being more precise, the trademark used to be visible on the most crystal and whitest salt destined to the kings. The barrels, where the produce was kept, were tagged with the symbol of the Royal Eagle. The ancient arms is even now in use what shows rich tradition, high standard and infallibility of Wieliczka Salt Mine.

The first Polish subterranean reserve was opened in Wieliczka Salt Mine which is one of the finest mines in Europe. This unusual display is situated 70-114 meters beneath the ground-surface. The presentation presents principally the impressive parts of halite crystals.

Tatra Mountains – you would love it!

Katowice Pyrzowice is a regional airport that taking into account numbers of passengers is third in Poland. The airport is located close to the town called Pyrzowice, approx. thirty km to the Katowice’s city centre. It’s got 2 terminals that can work with more than 3,5 million people per year. The gorge is located in the southern Poland and on the north of Slovakia. The Dunajec River Gorge makes the base for the Dunajec River which you may raft on.
